Highlands Community Garden A team of dedicated volunteers have taken it upon themselves to 'squat' on a piece of Hampshire County Council land on Highlands Road that is unlikely to be built on for the foreseeable future. It used to be the site of the Hampshire Rose pub. To try to get some community cohesion, and to promote local and sustainable living, we are trying to create an oasis of community spirit in that part of Fareham. Come along and have a look. Better still, help out on Sundays from 10.30 - 12.30. |
